Since we organized the European Nike event in Tenerife for more than 1,000 people more than 12 years ago, we left a Dreams & Adventures base on this fantastic island.

One of the great advantages of Tenerife to host events for companies is its climate. Tenerife has an excellent time all year round, especially in the winter months (November, December, January, February, and March) when it is very cold all over Europe. Who does not want a trip to a sunny and hot place when it’s cold in Europe and it gets dark at 5 o’clock in the evening? Tenerife is nearby, has two airports and all the necessary infrastructure to organize a business event or a congress.

The attractions of Tenerife are remarkable. From the start, it is necessary to differentiate several totally different zones. The south of Tenerife with Las Americas, Los Cristianos and Adeje is one of the best-known places for tourism. Santa Cruz, the capital, one hour south is a city where we also find many attractions. The north is where we find the most typical villages and where you can enjoy the Canarian culture.

The Teide National Park occupies the highest area of ​​the island of Tenerife. In 2007 it was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, and since that year it is also considered one of the Twelve Treasures of Spain. At the foot of this magnificent national park, we have the Parador, a place to organize a dinner in the light of the stars, or starting point, coffee break or picnic for a visit to this spectacular and unique natural park.

In this area is the Teide volcano, which at 3718 meters is the highest peak in the Canary Islands and Spain. It is also the third largest volcano in the world and the most visited National of the four with which the Canary Islands have a total of 2.8 million visitors, being also the most visited National Park in Spain with 3,142,148 visitors in 2007.

Tenerife, being a tourist destination, has a large hotel offer, and some of these hotels have capacities for groups of more than 1,000 people, something that is not easy to find in the peninsula. This makes it very attractive for large groups. In the Mediterranean Palace, one of the large capacity hotels in Tenerife, we have organized large events. But also at the Bahia del Duque Hotel and its beach or the Ritz-Carlton Abama Hotel.

We organize events, especially in the south (Los Cristianos, Adeje, etc.), but as we mentioned we also organize events at the Hotel Bahía del Duque, at the Hotel Abama, at the Las Américas beach, on the Playa del Médano, in Private estates like in the Teide National Park, in Santa Cruz or in Orotava.

The character of its people, the climate, the great hotel offer, its beaches, the economics of its flights and belonging to a safe and stable country like Spain make Tenerife a destination to consider for any organizer of an incentive trip, a convention or any other company event.
