Dreams & Adventures was born at the end of 1995 in Barcelona when the executive Enrique Serrano, an expert in HR, from the consultancy Coopers & Lybrand from its offices in Madrid, commissioned a project of adventure activities to Andreu Mateu for the motivation of a Telefónica de España team.
That project never went ahead but it served so that Andreu Mateu, realized the necessity in the companies to make adventure activities in their human equipment to foment the spirit of the team, the motivation and to foment the relations between them.
During the year 1996 new customers emerged: Mercedes Benz, Sony, Sanofi, etc. It was a few years of learning in a sector that had just been born and Dreams & Adventures was one of the few companies that led that market.
In the year 1997 in a collaboration project with Danone in which Andrew Morgan of the Peak Performance company also worked, both realized that they were complementary and began to work together on a project for Mercedes Benz in Vitoria. In 1998, Andrew Morgan of Peak Performance decided to return to England and Dreams & Adventures absorbs Peak Performance and holds the Belbin license together with the Peak Performance Outdoor Training methodology and the materials of this company.
From that moment, Dreams & Adventures was growing and positioning itself as one of the pioneering companies in Spain in the organization of activities of Team Building and Outdoor Training for companies.
Since then, Dreams & Adventures has expanded throughout Spain, opening offices and warehouses in Barcelona and commercial offices in Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Seville, and Tenerife, becoming the pioneer and leader in Spain.
On September 11, 2001, the attack on the twin towers of New York marks a turning point. The attack shocks the world and as a result, companies cancel their conventions and meetings and this greatly affects the market. In spite of everything, Dreams & Adventures restructures its operations and passes the crisis successfully. Seen by necessity, it invests a large amount of resources in web technology and, with a team of more than 50 collaborators (graphic designers, video editors, programmers, etc.) develops a very powerful CRM tool for two years that allows it to send quotes in less than 4 minutes with a wide range of texts, photos, and videos.
The crisis is overcome well and the Team Building market continues to develop in Spain and in the world and a large number of companies emerge in the market and what was something innovative for a few companies becomes a recognized sector.
In 2004 Dreams & Adventures also launched the first web-based program to organize gymnastics with Blackberry terminals, Samsung and any mobile phone that has Internet access.
From the year 2004 to the year 2008, a large number of companies appeared in the market offering the same range of events from Dreams & Adventures, so the company decided to bet on innovation and the development of new Team Building events to differentiate itself in the market and offer new things to companies that had already done everything. This brings to light the broadest catalog of activities in Spain with the usual activities and a series of new activities that make a total of 200 different activities and launches and positions Dreams & Adventures as the most innovative company.
In 2010 Dreams & Adventures announced that it was a challenge and that it was going to be put to work to achieve surprise with a totally different concept of ‘Fresh and daring ideas’.
Dreams launched the first program to organize gigs with the Ipad. The idea that is then followed by other companies and becomes a success in the sector of events worldwide.
The concept “Fresh and daring ideas” means strongly betting on differentiation. Betting on new products that draw attention to the end consumer.
We want to make the Team Building an innovative sector where the consumer has the possibility of buying different events within the same theme as always. The catalog that we have beeb presenting since the year 2015 with more than 500 different activities is the maximum expression of this concept.
Since then, we have launched more novelties and more impact than ever as a result of the materialization of our own and not our own fresh ideas. Because many are ideas that customers have asked us, that we did not have in the catalog and that, over the last few years, we have been writing down in a database. It is worth noting the first search engine for online events, with a base of more than 500 activities and a powerful search engine so that by selecting the client’s needs, the tool suggests the most appropriate activities for each client and each occasion.
Our department of design and development of new products is the one
